It was such a pleasure photographing Connor's story! His parents' first baby, it made it so special! We did both maternity and newborn sessions and some sweet comparisons from those of before baby and after baby arrives. They are so sweet!

Welcome to the world, Connor!

Twin Newborn Baby Session

These twins were born pre-mature by 2 months. So by the time I photographed them at 4 months, they were really like 2 month old babies still since they were newborns for so long. We decided to do this as a newborn session so we worked on getting them to sleep for some of the portraits. Aren't they so adorable? They are the second set of twins in this sweet family! You can see all the siblings in the first photo below. They are so cute in their little pajamas!!

welcome to the world, Kendall!

Kendall's parents didn't want to miss out on getting those cute newborn photos of their little lady but they were worried they had missed the window for them since she was 4 weeks old when they contacted us.

We have no problem doing newborn sessions later than 2 weeks old! Kristi has even done a 4 month old newborn session when the baby was born premature. It does limit flexibility and you do have to wait for the baby to pass out asleep. But when you do, it's perfect as you can see with Kendall's portraits here!

We always ask the level of skin retouching you want for your baby. Kendall's parents love the little red V on her forehead so we kept it there. It's so sweet and won't last very long but they love it while it's here as it's part of her!

little nemo smash & splash!

I really love when I get to design a cake smash from start to finish! It lets all my creativity out. I get to do this whenever I photograph our nieces and nephews and whenever clients tell me, do whatever you think. Wahoo! Let's make it EPIC!

When I was in Denver at the Disney store months before this session, I saw the cutest 1 year old outfits - Nemo, Snow White, and a few others. They were so adorable! So for my nephew Emmitt's 1st birthday Smash & Splash, I wanted to do a Finding Nemo cake smash & splash. And if I do say so myself, it turned out even better than I planned!

In one of the photos, we handed him a plastic Nemo, which he proceeded to munch on. We decided it was cannibalism - when one species eats it's own LOL! And the fish in the bath at the end - so adorable!

As usual, our beautiful cake came from Sugar Plum Cake Shoppe. (They are amazing at helping my vision come to life!)
